The Cadillac XT5 is one of the best choices in the extremely popular mid-size crossover class. The new XT5 version will continue on the C1XX platform which is also the foundation for several recently redesigned models like Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, etc. The styling of the model won’t also change and the same design language Cadillac will apply to the upcoming XT4 model.The XT5 is an attractive crossover with crisp lines and up-scale elements. Inside the cabin, the XT5 is spacious and nicely designed. The max cargo capacity is 63 cubes while with the rear seats up, the available cargo room is 30 cubes.The base version will also offer OnStar services including WiFi hotspot, 4G LTE connectivity plus wireless charging, Bose Sound system, etc. The Driver Awareness package which is currently available from the Luxury trim could become a standard feature for the new model year.
2020 CADILLAC XT5: POWERTRAINS
Under the hood of the 2020 Cadillac XT5 will again be a 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Cadillac pairs this engine with the 8-speed automatic transmission.Cadillac might add a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Cadillac hasn’t confirmed either of these engine options.
2020 CADILLAC XT5: RELEASE, PRICE
Cadillac will likely follow the usual release sequence and we expect the 2020 Cadillac XT5 in the third quarter of 2018. The price range should again start around $40k.
