The Sequoia is truck-based, three-row SUV with seats for up to eight, cargo-leading cargo capacity, reliable V-8 engines combined with strong off-road and towing capability. These were good things, but the current Sequoia has been around since 2008. After the recent refresh that won’t obviously happen for the 2025 Toyota Sequoia
WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS?
When it comes to the body-on-frame models in Toyota’s lineup including trucks and SUVs, many of them haven’t seen radical intervention in a long period of time. Models like the Sequoia, RAV4, Tundra truck, etc. are now in company’s focus and redesigned versions should appear in coming years.
2025 TOYOTA SEQUOIA: DESIGN
After the refresh of the 2018 version, Toyota won’t, of course, intervene on the styling of the 2025 Toyota Sequoia. New color combinations and wheel options are possible.With the recent refresh, Toyota added LED headlights on all versions and with the restyled grille, the Sequoia has a unique face in brand’s lineup. The appealing option is the TRD Sport trim with blacked exterior elements, 20-inch wheels, and the sport-tuned suspension.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Don’t expect big changes in the cabin of the 2025 Sequoia either. The interior will return in the same form and some changes could be expected in the equipment organization. We again expect the same trim options.The model will offer standard LED headlights, thee-zone climate control, a sunroof, power driver seat, eight speakers, a 6.1-inch interface, HD, and satellite radio. Standard will also be lane departure warning, a rearview camera, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring.Available will also be heated and ventilated seats, upgraded upholstery, premium sound system, upgraded infotainment features, etc.
2025 TOYOTA SEQUOIA: POWERTRAIN
The 2025 Toyota Sequoia won’t change the formula of model’s running gear. We would love to see a new transmission with more gears but the trusty 6-speed automatic will likely remain the only option.The Sequoia will come with the standard rear-wheel drive. All versions will be available with the all-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case and Torsen limited-slip differential. All models will also have all-wheel independent suspension and optional variable air suspension or Bilstein shocks.The fuel economy will remain at 15 mpg combined with the rear-wheel drive. With the all-wheel drive expect 1 mpg less.
2025 TOYOTA SEQUOIA: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 Toyota Sequoia will arrive in the late phase of 2018. The price will again start at around $48, 500.
