BMW’s first in the lineup and fun to drive crossover, the X1 has been around since the 2016 model year in its second generation. With the fierce competition from Audi and Mercedes, BMW must keep the model fresh and the firm was spotted while testing the updated X1 The model will go on sale at some point in 2025 while should show what it has to offer later this year.The 2025 BMW X1 will bring some visual upgrades, not radical judging by what we can conclude from the prototype version. 2025 BMW X1: STYLING CHANGES
The small package crossover won’t bring radical styling changes with the next refresh. The prototype version of the 2025 BMW X1 has disguised front end section and rear bumper and like every mid-cycle update, this will also focus on the soft parts while the size and shape will remain at the same points.The front side of the model seems to have sleeker kidney grille version bracketed by the new design headlights. The headlight graphics look like on brand’s latest models and the front bumper has slightly different sculpting.The profile will display the same form with the sharp rising crease while the rear will also go with the tweaked bumper and the new graphics taillights.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
In the cockpit, the small crossover BMW should offer fresh materials and new textures. Expect the new steering wheel.BMW will also do some improvements to the infotainment system and connectivity features while could also boost the safety technology.The X1 will be well-equipped from the start and offer fog lights, automatic wipers, 18-inch wheels, driver memory setting, power tailgate, adjustable front seats and more as the base gear. The buyers will also be able to update with the M Sport design, sports suspension, premiums surround sound system, and more.
2025 BMW X1: POWERTRAIN
No details yet about BMW’s intents regarding the powertrain and potential upgrades. In the US the X1 packs the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with the 8-speed automatic transmission. The two- and four-drive are both available while the model returns around 25 mpg combined fuel economy.With the capability of delivering 228 hp and 258 lb-ft combined with the precise steering and suspension, the model provides great driving dynamics but BMW will surely try to draw more from the refreshed 2025 BMW X1. We should expect some efficiency and performance improvements.The plug-in hybrid version of this model is also expected sometime in the near future but not for the upcoming model year.
2025 BMW X1: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 BMW X1 should uncover its secrets later in the year and go on sale in 2025. The current X1 starts from $33, 900 but BMW will make some price corrections and we should expect the price to go slightly up.
