2025 BMW X2 Changes, Release Date and Redesign. With the market crowded with conventional SUVs, the coupe-like versions make things more interesting. BMW knows that and for the 2018 model joined another model with the more aggressive profile. The BMW X2 doesn’t only looks more interesting than the BMW X1 on which it is based yet delivers sharper driving experience while also has slick interior and decent passenger space.BMW delivers this appealing SUV model with one engine option to the US but that could change with the arrival of the 2025 BMW X2 Recent reports suggesting a more potent X2 M version and some upgrades in the equipment range. We are sure that BMW will revisit equipment offer but we shouldn’t take the M version as the done deal as BMW hasn’t confirmed this version.
2025 BMW X2: DESIGN
The X2 model shares most of its underpinning and the wheelbase with the less expensive and interesting X1 model while the styling follows a different direction. The model is 3.2 inches shorter than the X1 while also has 2.8 inches lower roofline. Being shorter than the X1 but with the same wheelbase, the model has smaller overhangs and combined with the more aggressive roofline and muscular body lines, it makes stronger visual immersion.The potential M version would add next level of aggressiveness with M Coupe-like design of bumpers, bigger alloys, sporty side skirts, rear spoiler, etc.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Inside the cabin, the X2 will be the familiar design very similar like on the X1 version. Of course, the fast-sloping roofline means less cargo space and the X2 delivers 21.6 cubes with all seats up. The X1 wins with 27.1 cubes while with folded rear seats the X2 offers over 50 cubes.The model will come with the synthetic or real leather upholstery and with black, aluminum or wood accents. The M version, if it arrives, will add sportier accents, contrasting stitching, sporty steering wheel, and sportier seats.The car will also get the latest iDrive infotainment system with 6.5-inch or 8.8-inch touchscreen options. Available will be luxury options, upgraded suspension, and active safety aids.
2025 BMW X2: PERFORMANCE
The 2025 BMW X2 will have the standard all-wheel-drive system. By default, the system powers the front wheels while adding rear-wheel torque when conditions demand.The base engine will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4. This version accelerates to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds while the fuel economy should be around 25 mpg combined.The M badged version, if it hits the market for the 2025 model year, could use a 3.0-liter straight-six engine from the M2 model. The power production would be around 400 hp and with sportier suspension and chassis tuning the model would be much more fun to drive.
2025 BMW X2: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 BMW X2 is expected sometime in 2025. The price should again start at around $38, 500 but the M version would cost much more.
