2025 GMC Acadia: Redesign, Specs, Interior, Price. The GMC Acadia arrived as the all-new model for the 2017 model year and new-generation version transformed into smaller and lighter vehicle. The comfortable interior with seats for up to seven and the number of available trims also make this model desirable.
The Acadia didn’t change much for the 2019 model year and carmaker only broaden the availability of the V-6 and three-row of seats. There won’t be the significant difference with 2025 GMC Acadia. The model is expected to enter the third model year after the redesign with some changes in equipment organization and possibly new equipment packages.
2025 GMC ACADIA POWERTRAINS
In the engine department, we should also expect the same options for the 2025 GMC Acadia. The base 2.5-liter inline-4 engine will produce 193 hp and torque of 188 pound-feet. The standard transmission will be a 6-speed automatic as well as the front-wheel drive.
The buyers will be able to upgrade to the 3.6-liter V-6 engine and all-wheel drive. This engine will provide 310 horsepower and torque of 271 pound-feet.
The model will have all-wheel independent suspension capable to absorb all bumps and special suspension with adaptive dampers will also be available.
As for the fuel economy, the four-cylinder powertrain will return around 23 mpg combined. The V-6 power and all-wheel drive will be around 20 mpg combined.
2025 GMC ACADIA STYLING
The 2025 GMC Acadia won’t, of course, change much from the visual perspective as the model underwent the full redesign for the 2017 model year. GMC actually surprised us when significantly reduced the size of the model.
The styling of the redesigned Acadia isn’t also the large departure from the previous version but automaker made the look more modern. The Acadia has softer body lines and less blocky shape thanks to the round corners and edges. The fresh design of the grille and lights combined with upscale elements also add to its appearance.
For the new model year, the automaker will likely offer new color combinations, new wheel design and possibly exterior theme.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT
The model has a simple but attractive and efficient interior design. The seats provide long-ride comfort and model will again offer five, six and seven seating configurations.
Equipment wise, the new Acadia will likely return with the same trim range. The model will offer 7- and 8-inch infotainment systems with modern features and modern safety equipment. This time the Driver Alert packages with active safety systems will likely become more accessible and some of the features could also become standard.
The model will also offer high-end materials and attractive styling elements inside and out but buyers will also be able to upgrade to the all-terrain package and adaptive dampers.
