The Savana has been riding for almost 25 years and it hasn’t received too many changes. Moreover, the original model is still in the offer. CONFIGURATIONS
Both Savana 2500 and 3500 are available and both versions come with two trim levels in the offer. The base LS trim is pretty basic. It features things like steel wheels, air conditioning, power windows and locks, a driver information display, vinyl upholstery and floor covering. Still, there are several modern tech features like Wi-Fi hotspot, a rearview camera, 120-volt household-style power outlet, and a two-speaker audio system etc.

You can get a 6.5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, a CD player, a USB port, navigation, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable front seats, satellite radion and many more.
2025 GMC SAVANA REDESIGN
It’s no secret that GM is developing a completely new platform, designed for all-electric vehicles only. From what we heard from the company’s officials, this will be a highly modular platform. It will underprint a wide range of vehicles, including sedans, crossovers and, eventually, minivans. According to the company’s spokesman, a completely new, all-electric van is also planned, with proportions similar to the current Savana and Chevy Express. However, it is still unclear whether the company is about to keep familiar names, or we are about to see new ones, which will be more in accordance with the vehicle’s all-electric nature.
On the other side, there are also reports that are suggesting a different scenario. According to these reports, the new all-electric van will come separately from the Express/Savana nameplate, which will remain reserved to internal-combustion models. In this case, the current GMT 610 platform would be replaced with something far more up to date. Still, experts can’t agree whether we are about to see a more traditional T1 platform or a modern, VSS unibody architecture. In any case, the new model will come with smaller and much more efficient four and six-cylinder engines.
However, the latest reports are also suggesting that the new models won’t come that soon. Most likely, we will see a complete redesign in about two or three years. This also indicates that the 2025 GMC Savana might come without changes.
2025 GMC SAVANA MIGHT REMAIN THE SAME
As we’ve just mentioned, there is a big chance that this redesign won’t happen so soon. It that case, the 2025 GMC Savana would come in the pretty much same way as the current model. This means an old-school design based on old GMT 610 platform and large-displacement engines. There are several powertrain options in the offer. There is a base 4.3-liter V6, which is good for about 275 horsepower. Those who prefer stronger performances can opt for a large 6.0-liter V8, which delivers around 340 horsepower. You can choose an economical 2.8-liter turbodiesel, which is good for about 180 horsepower.
RELEASE DATE AND PRICE
If we take that the 2025 GMC Savana probably won’t change, the release date should be scheduled for a typical time. Otherwise, we should see it a little bit earlier. The current model features a starting price of around 35.000 dollars.
