2025 Infiniti QX50 Redesign, Release Date, Price. Infiniti showed the QX50 concept at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show and impressed the audience with sculptural design and new technologies. As we expected and seen on the prototype versions, the new QX50 will exploit very similar styling as the concept car and will also bring new technologies. The model will sit on the new front-wheel-drive platform and will use the variable compression ratio, VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine. The new version will also maximize interior comfort and cargo capacity but will also introduce the ProPilot Assist technologies.

2025 INFINITI QX50 UNDER THE HOOD
Under the hood of the new 2025, Infiniti QX50 will sit a new variable compression turbocharged inline-4 engine or VC-T. The engine automatically switches between 8:1 compression ratio and 14:1 for better performance or efficiency respectively. The power and torque figures of the new engine are 268 hp at 5, 600 rpm and 280 lb-ft at 4, 400 rpm.
The new model uses the continuously variable transmission and standard front-wheel drive. Infiniti promises 60 mph in 6.7 seconds with the FWD or 6.3 seconds with the AWD.
2025 INFINITI QX50 PLATFORM, STYLING
The all-new 2025 Infiniti QX50 comes based on the new front-wheel-drive platform which provides better structural rigidity and interior efficiency. The carmaker uses the Super High Formability 980 Mpa high-tensile steel which improves the torsion rigidity by 23 percent and allows easier shaping while also reducing overall weight.
In terms of dimensions, the new QX50 measures 184.8 inches in length, 66.1 inches in height and 74.9 inches in width. The ground clearance is 8.6 inches.
Visually, the new QX50 implements brand’s new Powerful Elegance design and features more conventional SUV shape than the version it replaces. The model also has black trim on wheel arches.
INTERIOR, REDESIGN
Inside, the new model maximizes passenger and cargo room. The passengers will sit comfortably in both rows and will have 31.6 cubes of the cargo space at the disposal. When the rear seats are folded, the cargo capacity expands to 60 cubes.
The car manufacturer also uses high-quality materials in cabin construction and asymmetric control layout. The latest infotainment platform will be installed in the new vehicle alongside with the new safety technologies. The model also comes with the ProPilot Assist system providing the semi-autonomous driving capability for controlling acceleration, braking, stop/go capability and line keep on the highway.
2025 INFINITI QX50 RELEASE DATE AND PRICE
The 2025 Infiniti QX50 debuts at the 2017 Los Angles Show. It will be on sale next year. The price, available equipment, and other specs will be known closer to the launch date.
