Acura’s best-selling model RDX entered the third generation as the 2019 version and the model arrived with more style, turbocharged power, torque vectoring all-wheel drive, high-class interior and much more. The new generation RDX sports the new exterior design and better performance and in the fast-growing segment, it was on the sales chart in front of the names such as the BMW X3, Audi Q3. Mercedes GLC, etc., at some periods.After the comprehensive redesign, we shouldn’t expect much to change with the arrival of the next 2025 Acura RDX version. 2025 ACURA RDX: DESIGN
The recent redesign brought the new RDX on the new platform and larger in all directions. The model rides on the 2.6-inch longer wheelbase while has 2.4 inches more in lengths than the version its replaced.The new generation model also adopted the design language defined with the pentagonal grille and attractive Jewel Eye headlights. The high-end interior is also the strong side of the RDX The model combines the dynamic dash design and specific controls and dials with the premium, contrasting materials and nice wood, aluminum and other accents. 2025 ACURA RDX: PERFORMANCE
The RDX ditched the V-6 engine in favor of the Civic Type R-based turbo unit for the recent redesign. The 2025 Acura RDX will return with the willing 2.0-liter turbo-4 with 272 hp and 280 pound-feet of torque at disposal. The engine will work in the conjunction with the 10-speed automatic transmission.The model will offer the all-wheel drive which can transfer up to 70 percent of the torque to the rear wheels. Improving the handling will also be the torque vectoring which can route power left to right up to 100 percent. Another level of the drive control will provide the Integrated Dynamics System with the different modes for the particular road conditions.As for the fuel efficiency, the RDX will be around 24 mpg combined regardless of the two- or all-wheel drive.
2025 ACURA RDX: RELEASE, PRICE
The 2025 Acura RDX will hit the market in the second half of 2019. The price will likely go slightly up from the current base $37, 300 and climb over $48, 000 with the most of options loaded.
