Escape is Ford’s successful formula for the compact crossover SUV. Ford refreshed its best-selling SUV for the 2017 version with the new look inside and out plus two new engines and new technologies. The 2025 Ford Escape is the next iteration of this model and Ford will again make some changes to the equipment range.
2025 FORD ESCAPE: DESIGN
Ford updated the styling of the Escape for the 2017 version and the 2025 Ford Escape will lack exterior tweaks. New color options, wheel designs and new special exterior packages will likely refresh the offer before the model receives the next full redesign.The Escape is the crossover with hatchbacks-inspired styling. The model has sharply defined lines and edges for more aggressive appearance combined with the tall roofline and brand’s six-sided grille. The base model will ride on the 17-inch wheels and upper grades will bring more chrome or sporty touches alongside the larger wheel diameters.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Inside the cabin, buyers will encounter familiar curvaceous dashboard and good material and assembly quality. The model will deliver mid-class cargo space with 34 cubes behind the rear seats and 68 cubes behind the front seatsThe base version will come with the Sync interface system but upper trims will get upgraded versions with larger screens and improved features. More money will also bring upgraded upholstery, power and heating features, premium sound system and more active safety systems.

On the performance front, the 2025 Ford Escape will rely on the same engine options. The base power unit will be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with the power of 168 ponies and torque of 170 pound-feet. A six-speed automatic transmission will be on all versions.For the last update, Ford added a 1.5-liter turbo-4 and this engine provides 179 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. This option provides better acceleration and fuel economy than the base version. The front-wheel-drive model will return 26 mpg combined while the base powertrain earns 24 mpg combined.This engine makes 245 hp and torque of 275 pound-feet. The Escape motivated with this engine will hit 60 mph in around 7 seconds.
