Toyota recently presented the redesigned compact crossover RAV4 and the large sedan Avalon is also all-new for the 2025 model. Both models are now in their fifth generation.The Highlander was, on the other hand, all-new for the 2014 model and most recently updated as the 2017 version. The 2025 model year won’t bring significant upgrades for the family hauler regarding the exterior and interior design and powertrains.
2025 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER: DESIGN
The Highlander updated its styling for the 2017 model year refresh and the 2025 Toyota Highlander won’t go under the knife. The new generation version, expected for the 2025 model year will redefine model’s look.The front section comes with the black, chrome or silver finish which contrasts differently with model’s elongated headlights. The sharp lines on the hood, around fenders, over door panels and on the rear section also contribute to model’s attractiveness.The model also benefits from attractive multi-spoke wheel design and the base version will again repeat the 18-inch units while in the upper grades, Toyota will offer the 19-inch alloys. Toyota will likely offer new color options and wheels for the new model year.
INTERIOR:
The interior of the model is its stronger side but the new model year won’t add notable changes. The model has driver-oriented dash design and well-placed controls.
EQUIPMENT:
The Highlander is also well-equipped starting from the base version. The new model could bring upgraded infotainment system with Android Car Play features and larger base display.
2025 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER: POWERTRAINS
In the engine department, the 2025 Toyota Highlander will offer the same options.The base Highlander will rely on the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. All-wheel drive will be available on the V-6 version and this engine provides 295 hp and 263 lb-ft of torque.The V-6 engine will also play the role in Highlander Hybrid. This engine works in the combination with the battery and two electric motors for the total output of 306 horsepower.
2025 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER: PRICING AND ARRIVAL
The 2025 Toyota Highlander will arrive in showrooms by the end of the year. The price range should again kick off at around $31, 000.
