From what we saw, the new Ranger Wildtrak will look closer to the F-150 pickup truck, which is great. Of course, the new Ranger will have a great impact on the Wildtrak variant, but some cues are clearly taken from the F-150 model.
Interestingly, but some styling cues are also very close to the brand-new Ford Bronco SUV. Overall, it seems like Ford did a truly great job in terms of design. The Wildtrak is a very exciting model and even its interior will look sportier and more modern. The sales will begin early in 2025 and this pickup truck will feature the V6 engine.
2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak: New Turbo-Four Engine Still Not Official
Current Wildtrak rides on a familiar T6 body-on-frame architecture. This platform supports hybrid technology and a longer wheelbase. Moreover, Ford Bronco will deploy the same structure. Thanks to that, the 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak could share powertrains with the arriving Bronco SUV. A 2.3-liter turbo-four engine with 270 horsepower will be on offer, which is great.
Moreover, Ford will offer both a 7-speed manual and 10-speed automatic transmission. If the Ranger Wildtrak will ditch its current four-cylinder engine in favor of the new turbo V6 optional engine, we still don’t know.
2025 Ranger Wildtrak Looks Closer to F-150 Pickup
This is a very interesting category, especially after we saw the very first spy shots. The 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak will look like the F-150’s younger sibling. Far, Ford usually opted for this approach when working on its Super Duty trucks. Now, even the Ranger Wildtrak will look closer to the F-150 than to the Ranger pickup. The sophisticated grille is present once again, but it looks slightly modified.
The spy photos are showing the squared-off headlights and c-shaped light elements. The bumpers are wider, while we know nothing about the side profile. Reportedly, the new Wildtrak variant will slightly grow in size, but the platform should remain. Wildtrak will offer the same side steps and possibly the same exterior paints as the outgoing model.
Interior Changes
As you probably know, the new Ranger model will share a lot of stuff with the Volkswagen Amarok. Thanks to that, even the 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak will largely benefit from that. In the last couple of years, Ford really improved its interiors, no matter if we are talking with pickup trucks or crossovers and SUVs. This was a big issue, as most of Ford’s trucks were offering a lot of plastics and some other cheaper materials.

Now, Ranger and its Wildtrak variant will host a lot more luxury. The spy photos didn’t show interior details, but we know Ford will introduce more plush materials and larger displays. Most likely, the 12-inch unit will be on offer, like in the new F-150 pickup truck. This is still not official, but you should expect some serious improvements.

The Blue Oval manufacturer is yet to announce more details regarding the 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak. The price will most likely start at about $40,000 and the sales will begin in the first quarter of 2025. As you know, this mid-size pickup truck is extremely popular in Australia.
