A recently redesigned Mazda CX-5 is among best choices in the segment and despite it doesn’t deliver the best numbers in any aspect this well-rounded, compact crossover wins with a great combination of the engaging ride and handling as well as upscale look and interior. 2025 MAZDA CX-5: DESIGN
The fresh Mazda CX-5 is probably the best-looking crossover in the segment and that will continue to be for the 2025 model year despite we won’t see any notable change in its appearance. The front seats will deliver long-ride comfort while the rear legroom and space won’t be so generous. The cargo space isn’t also the best side of the model and max capacity reaches 60 cubes.Equipment wise, the CX-5 will be generous from the base trims. By default, this model will offer the leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7-inch infotainment interface, LED headlights, and many active safety features.
2025 MAZDA CX-5: POWERTRAINS
For the power delivery, the 2025 Mazda CX-5 will rely on the 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G non-turbo four-cylinder engine. Mazda equipped this engine with the cylinder deactivation system for the 2018 model year.This powertrain will provide 25 mpg in city and 31 highways with the power on the front wheels. The all-wheel drive will return 24/30 mpg city/highway.The diesel option was promised and it should appear in time for the 2025 version. A 2.2-liter SKYACTIVE-D diesel four-cylinder mill will likely offer the manual shifting option. The power should be around 173 hp.
2025 MAZDA CX-5: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The arrival of the 2025 Mazda CX-5 is expected in late 2018. The price will start at around $24, 000 for the base version. The priciest version will climb over $30k.
