The new-generation was expected in late 2018 or early 2025 but latest updates suggest the new version in late 2025 or early 2025. The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander won’t introduce radical changes.
2025 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER: DESIGN
The Outlander is nice-looking crossover and what makes Mitsubishi’s models unique on the road is the “Dynamic Shield” front fascia. Mitsubishi’s updated styling of the Outlander for the 2016 model year and the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander won’t change in that regard.The model has plenty of chrome up front but also shiny moldings on the profile and rear make it look upscale. The lines on the model are well-balanced and floating between sporty and elegant. The rear also looks nice including model’s taillights and nicely sculpted rear bumper.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Inside the Outlander won’t also change much from the current form. The model offers enough room for adults in the front and middle row while the rear seats should be used for children.The base Outlander will include a 7-inch touchscreen, voice controls, LED running lights, dual-zone climate control, etc. We expect these safety systems available in lower trims for the 2025 version.
2025 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER: POWERTRAINS
The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is expected with the same powertrain options as the current version. The base 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine will provide 166 hp and torque of 162 pound-feet. The continuously variable transmission will be in every combination and all-wheel drive will also be available on all trims.On the GT version, we will likely see a 3.0-liter V-6 unit. This engine can produce 224 hp and torque of 215 lb-ft. This version should again come with the six-speed automatic gearbox and steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles.The Outlander PHEV will use a 2.0-liter inline-four engine, electric motors and 12-kWh battery pack. This version can go 25 miles on the electric propulsion while the combined economy is 25 mpg.
2025 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander will arrive in late 2018. The price range should again start at around $24k. The PHEV version will cost around $35, 500.
