Volvo XC90 is the major player in its class and very significant member for the brand. With the rear row out the function, it is at 41.8 cubes and with the all seats up delivers 15.8 cubes for the gear.

The Volvo XC90 returns in the Momentum, R-Design, Inscription and Excellence trims.The Inscription also updates the exterior styling, wheels and upholstery. 2025 VOLVO XC90: POWERTRAINS, MPG
On the performance front, the 2025 Volvo XC90 returns with the trio of the powertrains.The base T5 powertrain includes the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the combination with the 8-speed auto gearbox. The front-wheel drive is standard and the all-wheel drive optional. The T5 delivers 250 hp and torque of 258 pound-feet while returns 24 mpg combined.The 2.0-liter turbo and supercharged four-cylinder rises the performance bar to 316 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. This version is the all-wheel drive only and the fuel economy is rated at 23 mpg combined.The T8 plug-in hybrid also uses the T6 supercharged engine and in the combination with the 87-hp electric motor and 10.4-kWh battery. It also the all-wheel-drive only and delivers 400 hp and 472 pound-feet of torque combined. The all-electric range according to EPA is 14 miles and with the empty battery, 27 mpg combined.
