Volvo redesigned its top-selling, compact XC60 crossover SUV for the 2018 model year. 2025 VOLVO XC60: DESIGN
For the recent redesign, the XC60 switched to the Scalable Product Architecture. This is the variation of the platform found in the larger XC90 and two models also share the same design language. The redesigned XC60 is also 2.4 inches longer and Volvo also stretched the wheelbase for 3.6 inches to provide more passenger space.The styling of recently redesigned XC60 isn’t a large departure from the previous generation design, and model actually looks like smaller XC90. Volvo modernized model’s headlights which continue with the Thor Hammer motif and the taillights are the more modern version of the previous design. 2025 VOLVO XC60: POWERTRAIN OPTIONS
Expect the 2025 Volvo XC60 with the same powertrain options. The base T5 model will get power from the turbocharged version. The turbo- and supercharged version of the T6 model will produce 316 horsepower and torque of 295 pound-feet.The T8 plug-in hybrid will exploit the combination of the T6 four-cylinder engine with the rear electric motor and a 10.4-kWh battery. The total output will 400 hp and 472 pound-feet of torque.The T8 will hit 60 mph in 4.9 seconds while will have the electric range of 20 miles. The T6 will return 24 mpg combined while supercharged T6 will be at 23 mpg combined.
