Current model rides on its fifth-generation and it is one of the most popular minivans in the country. However, the 2025 Honda Odyssey will be the sixth-gen model. The new platform could also mean that the Odyssey minivan won’t be a front-wheel-drive model anymore. We believe that Honda will deliver the same FWD setup. The current Odyssey provides 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Odyssey Type R will also arrive. This high-performance version will benefit from the twin-turbo configuration under its hood. It will deliver over 400 horsepower. Moreover, Type R comes with impressive bodywork, meaner stance and it looks wilder and sportier in every possible way.
2025 ODYSSEY EXTERIOR REDESIGN
We already wrote about the 2025 Odyssey and its mid-cycle refreshments. Year after that, new-gen 2025 Honda Odyssey will reach the markets, and it will be redesigned. For that reason, expect numerous changes and most of them will be significant. For a start, this minivan will slightly grow in size. The new platform is in the works already and it will be able to accommodate a hybrid drivetrain. As for the visual upgrades, the Odyssey model will gain new front fascia.
That includes new headlights finished in different shape and a wider grille. Bumpers will be changed on both ends and taillights will look slimmer. The Japanese manufacturer will provide a new set of wheels, both standard and optional. This minivan will also gain new sunroof, additional chrome accents and a new tailgate.

For a start, this minivan will once again offer a room for eight passengers. Thanks to the new platform, this minivan will provide more legroom.

2025 HONDA ODYSSEY PRICE AND RELEASE DATE
When it arrives, the 2025 model will cost around $31,000. The approaching new-gen 2025 Honda Odyssey will surely cost more, closer to the $35,000. Sixth-generation will go on sale in the second half of 2025. This minivan will continue to rival Chrysler Pacifica and Toyota Sienna.
