Jeep refreshed the compact crossover Cherokee and the model goes on sale as the 2025 Jeep Cherokee The refreshed model has less controversial styling and Jeep also used modern materials to reduce some of the model’s weight. Inside, Jeep improved materials and the design of the center console.The big news is the new turbocharged engine from Wrangler’s mild-hybrid system. Two other engine options are familiar from the current version. Jeep also brings three four-wheel-drive systems for the refreshed Cherokee.
2025 JEEP CHEROKEE: LESS POLARIZING EXTERIOR
The freshened 2025 Jeep Cherokee comes with cleaner, less polarizing look which obviously borrows styling cues from recently redesigned Compass. The new Cherokee also has the simple front bumper and new, aluminum hood.The rear side includes slightly restyled taillights and the license plate migrated to the center of the tailgate. With no integrated license plate, the rear bumper also has a cleaner design.Jeep also saved some weight thanks to the aluminum hood, composite tailgate and lighter Active Drive I system.
INTERIOR:
Inside, the cabin changes are not radical. Jeep replaced plastic-treated surface around the infotainment system with Piano black trim. Chrome accents around air vents and on other areas also fit nicely with the dark interior theme.Jeep also changed the design of the center console to provide a better place for the smartphones.
2025 JEEP CHEROKEE: POWERTRAINS
Under the new aluminum hood, the 2025 Jeep Cherokee will offer three engine options. Two engines are familiar from the current version.The new engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit. This engine related to the unit in the Alfa Romeo Giulia and a 2.0-liter engine that is part of Wrangler mild-hybrid system produces 270 hp and torque of 295 pound-feet.All engines benefit from the stop-start technology and come combined with the 9-speed automatic transmission. Three four-wheel drive setups are also available.
2025 JEEP CHEROKEE: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The new 2025 Jeep Cherokee with prettier exterior and turbocharged engine option will go on sale in the first quarter of the year. The price is yet to revealed but don’t expect a radical increase.
