Jeep made significant upgrades to its crossover SUV range and the latest Wrangler is all-new while the Cherokee and Renegade come in the refreshed form for the 2025 model year. The all-new Compass arrived earlier for the 2017 version and just a few modifications were for the 2018 Compass.For the 2025 Jeep Compass Trailhawk, the biggest and welcomed upgrade could be the introduction of the new and turbocharged engine option but Jeep still hides its plans. Other aspects are not expected to change radically as this model was redesigned recently. Jeep might tweak electronic components and offer more standard features.
2025 JEEP COMPASS TRAILHAWK: DESIGN
The base of the Compass is stretched platform version from the smaller Renegade while the redesign brought Grand Cherokee-like styling cues. The 2025 model year won’t bring styling revisions except we could expect new color combinations and wheel design.The 2025 Jeep Compass Trailhawk will also return in the familiar form but with emphasized off-road talents. The front and rear bumpers of this model are designed to improve ground clearance and the model also has a 0.5-inch suspension lift. The approach and departure angle measure 30.3 and 34 inches respectively.The Trailhawk also uses special 17-inch wheels with unique design and rugged, all-terrain tires for improved traction. Vital mechanics also comes protected with the skid plates and the model possesses front and rear tow hooks. With the hood decal, more black accents and Trailhawk badging Jeep also emphasis special purpose of this version.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Inside the cabin, the Trailhawk version is uniquely trimmed with the dominating black color and red, contrasting accents. This version also has brand’s latest UConnect infotainment system with 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen and smartphone compatibility. The Trailhawk also includes a 115-volt outlet and strong sound system.Jeep also equips all Compass models with the rearview camera while more advanced systems are optional on all version.
2025 JEEP COMPASS TRAILHAWK: PERFORMANCE
The 2025 Jeep Compass Trailhawk boasts 8.4 inches of ground clearance and uses Jeep’s well-proven Active Drive low all-wheel drive. The 9-speed automatic transmission also operates smoothly and the Trailhawk also has its Selec-Terrain system.Under the hood of the Compass Trailhawk will be a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 180 hp and torque of 175 lb-ft. With this engine, the Trailhawk reaches 60 mph in nine seconds range and can tow up to 2, 000 lbs.A turbocharged 2.0-liter engine would be a great improvement for the Compass but Jeep hasn’t yet confirmed the arrival of this option.
