Jeep has been busy working on its crossover range and it was recently caught while testing refreshed 2025 Jeep Renegade Jeep presented the mid-updated Cherokee at the Detroit Auto Show and upcoming pint-sized Renegade will draw some inspiration from this model regarding interior design. We hope that new Renegade will use Wrangler’s 2.0-liter turbo engine but based from what we can conclude from the prototype this will be the light update and the smallest high-riding Jeep will likely continue with the same engines under the hood.The styling of the freshened Renegade receives light updates as well which we see as the good decision. What’s is important, the model will get modernized equipment.
2025 JEEP RENEGADE: STYLING
Based on what we can draw from the spy photos, Jeep’s compact utility vehicle, the new 2025 Jeep Renegade won’t present radical changes on its cute styling. The circular headlights will also survive the mid-cycle update but Jeep appears to repositioned indicators and fog lights.The story is similar on the rear side, where we should expect redesigned bumper and slightly different taillights.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Jeep’s Uconnect infotainment system will be available in different options. The Renegade will also get updated safety gear and we expect more accessible active safety systems.
2025 JEEP RENEGADE: POWERTRAINS
When it comes to the engine department, we still don’t have clear hints that Jeep would introduce some upgrades. It would be great news for the new Renegade to get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine from the newest Wrangler and Cherokee.The actual Renegade exploits a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This unit now delivers 160 hp and 184 pound-feet of torque. Jeep now pairs this engine with the six-speed automatic transmission but the new version could improve performance with the nine-speed automatic gearbox.The updated version of the 2.4-liter four-cylinder unit should also arrive in the new version. The current 2.4-liter unit produces 180 hp and torque of 175 lb-ft. The transmission will be a 9-speed automatic.Jeep will, of course, offer the 2025 Jeep Renegade with the front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive option. The off-road-ready Trailhawk will continue with upgraded suspension, underbody protection, all-terrain tires, etc.
2025 JEEP RENEGADE: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 Jeep Renegade will debut later this year. The refreshed version should keep the price under control and expect base version from around $18, 500.
