Jeep redesigned the iconic Wrangler for the 2018 model year and continues to produce and sell the previous version alongside the new model. What is the most important, the new Wrangler is even more capable on- and off-road and also more efficient. For the 2025 Jeep Wrangler, Jeep won’t bring radical changes. The diesel powertrain should appear late in the year for the 2018 version while Jeep confirmed the Wrangler-based pickup version for the launch in April 2025. The Wrangler will return in two and four-door versions and we don’t have confirmation that new trim options will be available.
2025 JEEP WRANGLER: DESIGN
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler won’t, of course, change much on model’s styling. The last year redesigned model brought the evolutionary changes and Jeep was more focused to provide more efficient design and greater interior comfort while also improving model’s off-road capability. The model is again available in short wheelbase, two-door Wrangler version and long wheelbase, four-door Wrangler Unlimited version. The Wrangler rides on the 96.8-inch wheelbase while the Unlimited sits on the 21.6-inch stretched wheelbase. The smaller Wrangler is also significantly shorter overall 166.8 inches vs 188.4 inches. The Wrangler is again expected in Sport, Sport S, Sahara and Rubicon trim. Jeep will likely offer new color combinations and wheel options.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
The interiors of the redesigned Wrangler are also far nicer than on the previous generation models and more modern tech features are available. The Wrangler also has grown in all dimensions which translates to more interior comfort. The quality of materials is also on the higher level and many options are available. The 2025 Wrangler will again offer the base Sport version with the 17-inch wheels, fog lights, cloth upholstery, USB port, eight speakers, keyless start, rearview camera, 5-inch screen interface, etcJeep will also offer plenty of options. No signs that Jeep will add more advanced safety systems.
2025 JEEP WRANGLER: POWER OPTIONS
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler will return with familiar engine options. The engine will again come in the combination with the six-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmissions.Jeep should add the diesel version by the end of the year as the 2018 model. A 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 will also use the 8-gear unit only while making 260 hp and 442 pound-feet of torque. The plug-in hybrid version should also arrive but it’s still unclear when.
2025 JEEP WRANGLER: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler will have the launch date in the last quarter of 2025. The price range will again start at around $27, 500.
