The mid-size, three-row Kia Sorento is a good performer on all fronts. This well-rounded mid-sizer received the mid-cycle upgrade for the 2019 model and the next 2025 Kia Sorento will not bring notable upgrades.The model will again appear with the standard three-row seats, familiar engine options and in five well-equipped trims. Kia is also preparing the new three-row model but in the full-size form for the 2025 model year and the model will hit the market as the Kia Telluride.
2025 KIA SORENTO: STYLING
The Sorento is elegant and attractive crossover SUV and Kia made several modifications on model’s style for the 2019 version. The refreshed Sorento sports tweaked tiger nose grille combined with the new bumpers and redesigned headlights.The 2025 Kia Sorento will continue with the same styling as the newest and refreshed version. Kia will only offer new color options and wheel styles. The model will offer 17-, 18- and 19-inch wheel options and the full-LED headlights will be available as an option or standard in upper grades.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT:
Inside the cabin, the family-friendly Sorento comes with the nice materials and solid build quality. The controls also have a good placement and thanks to the recent interventions in the cabin, the next Sorento will return in the same form.The model will have standard three rows of seats. The base Sorento L will include the modern 7-inch infotainment system with the smartphone compatibility but will lack more luxury touches. The top SXL model will get attention with the Nappa leather seats, heated first two rows, cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, etc.
2025 KIA SORENTO: PERFORMANCE
Kia made adjustments to the suspension and steering system and also ditched the turbo-4 engine option for the 2019 model year. The improved six-speed automatic and a new 8-speed auto gearbox also arrived with the recent mid-update.The 2025 Kia Sorento will stay with the unchanged mechanics. The base 2.4-litre non-turbo four-cylinder engine will come in the combination with the six-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers 185 hp and torque 178 pound-feet.Better performance will deliver models with the 3.3-liter V-6 engine under the hood. This engine performs with the 8-speed automatic gearbox. It delivers 290 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque.The model will tow up to 5000 pounds. The fuel economy with the base engine will be 25 mpg combined or 23 mpg combined with the all-wheel drive. More power with the V-6 will cost several mpg and the all-wheel-drive V-6 will return 21 mpg combined.
