The subcompact crossover SUV, the EcoSport arrived in the US as the 2018 model. The model comes with the up-to-date tech and safety features and with two engine options.The 2025 Ford EcoSport will be the version of this model for the second model year in the US market. The new model year should bring more standard features and possibly a new trim option.
2025 FORD ECOSPORT: DESIGN
The 2025 Ford EcoSport won’t change visually from the form we can see now as Ford updated the styling of this model for the 2018 model year. The pint-size crossover has the hexagonal grille with the two-bar design that has been borrowed from the Edge model. The design of the headlights is also similar on two models.The Eco Sport also has sculpted fender flares and pronounced character line. The model will ride on 16- and 17-inch wheels and Ford will change grille finish and add unique details to each trim option.
INSIDE THE CABIN:
Ford has redesigned the dash and added more features for the 2018 version and upcoming model won’t change its interior styling while Ford will likely add new safety features and more standard equipment.The model will have floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with modern features and navigation. The base model will use cloth upholstery while the leather and cloth combination plus leather option will also be available.In the higher-spec versions, buyers will also get interior and appearance upgrades combined with the sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, leather upholstery, etc.
2025 FORD ECOSPORT: POWERTRAINS
The current EcoSport has the 1.0-liter three-pot EcoBoost petrol engine under the hood as the base option. A 2.0-liter Ti-VCT four-cylinder engine is more powerful option with the capability of producing around 166 hp.There is the chance that Ford introduces a new engine option possibly as the replacement for the three-cylinder EcoBoost. A 1.5-liter Ti-VCT should produce around 120 horsepower.
2025 FORD ECOSPORT: ARRIVAL, PRICE
The 2025 Ford EcoSport will hit the market in early 2025. The price range will again start at around $21k. The top version will close to $30k.
