The 2025 VW Touareg will be the third-generation of the mid-size SUV and VW secluded model’s premiere on March 23 at Beijing Auto Show. Debuting the new Tuareg in China shouldn’t surprise as it is the largest market for the brand. And buyers should also know that Touareg won’t go on sale in the US as the brand wants to favorize US-specialized Atlas model.There are no mysteries about model’s design either as we saw pictures of fully undisguised prototype and we also know that model will come larger and wider but lighter at the same time. That will possible thanks to the new lightweight platform and the model will also have an upmarket interior with one of the largest digital cockpits in the segment. The model will also offer different kinds of powertrain options and promises better ride comfort.
2025 VW TOUAREG: DESIGN, STRUCTURE
The all-new 2025 VW Touareg is coming on the new platform which makes it lighter providing also more comfortable ride. The new model will be in same time longer and wider with the stretch of almost 8 centimeters which most goes to longer wheelbase for enhanced interior comfort and cargo capacity.Styling wise, the model will apply brand’s latest design language and will have a similar front end as the Arteon. The grille and headlights are joined together to one section and the model will boast the segment brightest full-LED units.
INTERIOR, ACCESSORIES:
Inside the cockpit, the new Touareg will boast more impressive changes. The strongest impression will leave what VW calls the Innovision Cockpit.A significant wheelbase stretch will also provide greater passenger comfort and more cargo space. The new-gen Touareg will provide 810 liters of the cargo room compared to 697 liters in the current version.

Thanks to the use of the new platform, the 2025 VW Touareg will have the implementation of the rear-wheel steering and will also offer air suspension. Combined with the wider stance and more driver aids, the model will be agiler and stable on the road. It will also boast a towing capacity of 3.5 tons.For under the hood department, VW will offer different options. VW will combine engines with the 8-speed automatic transmission.VW will likely offer performance version and hybridized powertrain later in the life cycle.
